Our Mission
Save the Peconic Bays, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 environmental
organization created to foster protection, wise management, and
enjoyment of Long Island, New York's coastal waters with special concern
for the Peconic/Gardiner's Bay estuary system. We achieve our public
outreach and educational goals through our multimedia, multigenerational
efforts. We work hand-in-hand with the Peconic Estuary Program, one of
28 National Estuary Programs supported through the US Environmental
Protection Agency (USEPA).
